A pole barn is a peripheral structure, usually rectangular in shape, where the roof is extended over a number of poles. Pole barns usually lack exterior walls, and the partition wall on the outside of the barn is usually created by the poles that support the roof. Thanks for mentioning that you need to talk to local authorities before you can start construction. My husband and I would like to build a pole barn on our property for our cows. It would be really nice if we could speak with a builder this week so we don't have to do it ourselves.

I want to make sure that I have a place to store my yard work equipment. It makes sense that getting the right pole barn would be beneficial. That seems like the perfect structure for keeping my equipment out of the rain and snow.
